i’m sorry in advance if this message is long and rambly. your art is so lovely and your website is an inspiration. i also feel frustrated with some stuff i’ve been seeing on neocities. just yesterday had to block people who posted upsetting stuff. it is also appreciated that you don’t come across as fetishizing asian culture which is another issue i have with quite a lot of sites on here. lovely wardrobe. i hope you do not mind that i am following you. cheers, much love to you. 🖤

Thank you! I read through your writings. All of them are very well written, and I loved your post on opinions. While the internet allows us to be salient on important issues around the world, it also encourages complicitness (there was probably a better word I could have used, but nothing is coming to mind right now) and it is apparent now more than ever. Short form posts have led people to read less and less and instead relying to be hand fed history, imperialism, wars etc. in just a paragraph or two. When I was on social media the mindless reposting was so apparent when one person would repost a sanitized, “aesthetically made” post on palestine, sudan etc you could see that everyone else simply hit the repost button seconds later. It made me question if people took the time to even read and digest the couple sentences that were in the post. I used to post articles & readings from news/activist sites that were credible from what I gathered, but I doubt anyone read it since it was a way longer read then. Made book recommendations but it got less likes than what that others posted. Granted my reach wasn’t that big. There’s are less of the real and gruesome realities of genocide. And yeah I’ve also seen my fair share of people on here that had me furrowing my eyebrows a bit. This may be longer winded than yours sorry! Love what you’re doing on here!

Your site is utterly stunning. And your entry about being black in predominantly white spaces hits so close to home. I'm so glad you get to share your love of lolita and alternative aesthetics with us in such a beautiful manner and thank you for showing that black people aren't just a monolith we are all so uniquely ourselves!!
